$Freya In-Game Utility & Staking
This chapter focuses on the in-game utilities of $Freya. For details on use cases within the Freya AIA Ecosystem, please refer to the "Freya AIA Ecosystem" section to be released.
In Freya: The Starfall, the utility of $Freya revolves around three core areas that enhance AI-driven NPCs, gameplay, and player interaction. All $Freya consumed is distributed to $Freya stakers through a dedicated staking system after being partially burnt.
Now let's dive into the main utilities!
1. Shaping Adaptive AI-driven Characters
The nine main characters in Freya: The Starfall are not static NPCs—they are intelligent, adaptive AI agents designed to evolve based on player interaction.
"You will never be alone": Players can forge deep and evolving relationships with characters through freeform conversations throughout the journey. More than just allies in the game, they remember every interaction—your interests, dislikes, and shared experiences—these characters become your friends and ensure you never feel like "playing a game alone" anymore. They listen, understand, and respond thoughtfully, offering comfort and insights tailored to your feelings and needs. Whether it’s sharing joyful moments or being a source of reassurance, they become trusted companions who truly enrich your journey.
Personalized Character Design: Ever thought that "I like this character in the game, but I only whish that he/she could be ..." ? We've got you covered! Not only do our AI-driven Characters provide personalized friendship and emotional value, but by spending $Freya, players can shift a character's personality, preferences, dislikes, and even their worldview according to their preferences and needs. This also allows players to align characters’ roles and decisions with their own playstyle, and influence how they interact during the adventure.
Seamless Experience: To ensure accessibility, $Freya expenditures for AI customization are pegged to a stable USD-equivalent price. This approach mirrors traditional gaming microtransactions, avoiding price volatility and ensuring that even players with no prior experience in blockchain feel comfortable and at ease.
2. Roundtable Council of the Sunflower
The Roundtable Council empowers players to shape the future of Freya: The Starfall by proposing and voting on key game changes and directions, including:
Game mechanics adjustments (e.g., buffs, nerfs, battle mechanics, skill and talent adjustments/reworks, new modes, new skills, and even new characters).
Features and storyline directions.
Changes to the game system, difficulty levels, rewards, and many more.
Proposal Process:
Submitting a proposal requires a fixed amount of $Freya.
Voting in favor or against a proposal also requires a fixed amount of $Freya.
When a proposal receives a sufficient number of supporting votes, it advances to the Roundtable Council, where it formally enters the approval and rejection voting phase for final review. This phase lasts five days, after which the outcome is determined by a majority vote. Approved proposals are incorporated into the game’s development and implemented in the next version patch or major update.
3. Access to the Rarest Functions
To fully grasp this section, it’s helpful to first understand our skill random draw system for each character and the mechanics of randomized Attribute Growth Rankings. You can find detailed explanations in [Skill System] and [Attribute System].
The rarest features in the game are not resources for gacha pulls, level-ups, or battle tickets etc. Instead, these rarest features offer unparalleled enhancement customization options to your characters and squad that cannot be achieved through any amount of standard resources. These include the ability to reroll one skill in a character’s set without altering the other three or enhancing a character’s randomized Attribute Growth Rankings (AGR) to optimize their potential when their skill set is already ideal but AGR is not exactly the best.
These game-changing mechanics will gradually become accessible through $Freya, making the token grow more and more valuable and powerful over time. Similar to Personalized AI Character Designs, $Freya expenditures for these rarest features are also pegged to a stable USD-equivalent price. This approach mirrors traditional gaming microtransactions, avoiding price volatility and ensuring that Web2 players feel comfortable and have a seamless purchasing experience.
Staking and Redistribution
Holders of $Freya can stake their tokens in <Stardust Gate> and receive dividends of all $Freya consumed in-game, $Freya consumption follows a structured tokenomic model:
20% Burn: A portion of every $Freya transaction is permanently removed from circulation, reducing the total supply, and making $Freya deflationary.
80% Redistribution: The remaining $Freya is distributed to token stakers, proportional to their stake.
These systems allow $Freya holders to benefit not only from the token's value appreciation driven by the IP's recognition and brand awareness but also from the revenue and success of Freya: The Starfall. In a sense, holders become indirect investors and dividend beneficiaries of Freya: The Starfall.
Through these mechanisms, $Freya’s value is closely tied to the success of Freya: The Starfall. It is not just an AI agent token or an IP token—it also provides the unique opportunity to share in dividends and earnings, solidifying its role as a multifaceted investment within the ecosystem.
