  1. Attribute System

Five Attributes

In Freya: The Starfall, five core attributes define the capabilities and potential of each mercenary. Mastering these attributes is essential for success in the perilous seas.

  1. Constitution: This attribute measures a character’s resilience and vitality. High Constitution increases maximum health, the possibility of displacing the enemy, also resistance to any displacement.

  2. Strength: A key determinant of physical power, Strength boosts heavy weapon damage and critical hit potential, allowing characters to deliver powerful attacks while also reducing damage taken from heavy weapons.

  3. Agility: Agility reflects a mercenary’s dexterity. This attribute influences critical hit chances and Light Weapon damage. Mercenaries with high Agility can seize opportunities in battle, striking down enemies before they can retaliate.

  4. Spirit: This attribute represents a character's inner strength and determination. A higher Spirit enhances magical abilities, increasing the possibility to apply and resist debuffs. It also improves resistance to mental and magical attacks, allowing mercenaries to remain steadfast in the face of adversity.

  5. Reflex: Reflex is the measure of a mercenary's responsiveness in combat. It determines the action order in combat, allowing characters with higher Reflex to act first. Reflex also enhances a character's ability to evade enemy attacks, and to maintain their accuracy even when enemies attempt to dodge.

Not only influence combat-related stats, the attributes also play a crucial role in various events and encounters you will face during your adventures in the Starfall Seas. Sometimes, you'll need a mercenary with a specific attribute exceeding a certain value to unlock an option or successfully pass a check. Other times, the average attribute value of your five crew members must surpass a threshold to overcome a dangerous situation. More details will be revealed when the sailing mode is launched, so stay tuned!
